Privacy policy

In one line: this website does not track you, it carries no analytics and no third-party cookies, and the only things it stores in your browser are the language and the theme you choose. The Cadmetry application, which is another matter, does process data because it cannot work without it.
1. This website
The pages of cadmetry.com carry no analytics, advertising or social network cookies. There are no third-party tags and no fonts loaded from external servers: the typeface travels inside the stylesheet itself.
The browser's local storage is used for two preferences of yours, under two keys only: the chosen language and the light or dark theme. They identify nobody, they are sent nowhere and you can delete them by clearing the site data in your browser.
2. The contact form
The form on the contact page sends nothing by itself: it composes a message and opens it in your own mail program. The data leaves your machine when you press send in your mail client, and it reaches whichever Cadmetry address matches the subject chosen. It is kept for as long as the conversation lasts and for as long as is needed to evidence the commercial relationship.
3. The Cadmetry application
If you sign up for the application, the data needed to provide the service is processed: your account and workshop details, the end clients and projects you enter, the geometry of the pieces measured and the billing data for your subscription. The legal basis is performance of the contract you accept on signing up, and, for billing, compliance with legal obligations.
You are the one who enters your end clients' data: in respect of them, your workshop is the data controller and Cadmetry acts as processor, processing that data only to provide you with the service.
If you sign up or log in with your Google account, we receive your name and the email verified by Google — nothing else from your account, unless you also link Google Drive (see below).
When a workshop signs up and on every login, we record the IP address and the browser or device used, solely to protect the account and detect repeated or abusive free-trial sign-ups. It is never used to build advertising profiles.
Signing up a workshop triggers a welcome email with the trial period details. If you also receive marketing emails from us, each one includes a link to unsubscribe instantly, without affecting your account's own notices (invoices, payments, password recovery), which keep being sent as usual.
4. Third parties involved
- Redsys
- Subscription payment
- Google Drive
- Attachments, in your own workshop account
- Outgoing email
- Verification, notices and invoices
Your card details do not pass through Cadmetry: the Redsys gateway captures them. All that comes back and is kept is the card brand, its last four digits, its expiry date and an identifier that allows the recurring charge. Never the full number.
5. Your rights
You can request access to your data, its rectification, its erasure, the restriction of or objection to its processing, and its portability by writing to support@cadmetry.com. If you consider that your request has not been dealt with properly, you can complain to the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, the Spanish data protection authority.
6. Retention
If you stop paying, the account is suspended but the projects and the pieces are not deleted straight away, so that you can get them back if you return. If you ask for them to be deleted, they are deleted. Billing data is kept for the period tax legislation requires.
